@Footballtweet How about NO players in the six yard box for set pieces. Would protect keepers better. Corners and Long-throw-ins would not see the mayhem and grappling we see today. It’s tedious to watch.

🚩 IFAB have approved some laws of the game changes in football: ▪️ VAR for corners and 2nd yellows. ▪️ 5-second countdown on throws and goal-kicks. ▪️ 10-second countdown on subs. ▪️ Wenger's "daylight" offside rule will be trialled in Canada from April. The changes will apply from 1st June 2026, meaning we'll see the changes at the World Cup and 2026/27 season.

@bbc5live if FA Cup dropping replays is deemed a disadvantage to lower league teams, consider all games default the Home Team allocation falls to the lower league team for any fixture. This would be in the spirit of the FA Cup that is always held up as part of its unique charm.
