Your Fellow Vendor Is Not Your Enemy: 10 Ways to Support Each Other. 1. Follow and build genuine relationships. Don't see other vendors as competition alone. Follow them, connect with them, and get to know the people behind the businesses. A strong network can open doors you never expected. 2. Engage their business content. A like, comment, repost, or quote tweet can help a business reach someone who may become a customer. 3. Recommend them when opportunities come up. When someone is looking for a product or service you don't provide, tag a fellow vendor. Referrals cost nothing but can mean everything to a small business owner. 4. Patronise them when you can. If you need what they sell and it fits your budget, support them. Nothing speaks louder than becoming a customer yourself. 5. Leave reviews If you've used their product or service, share your experience publicly. Positive reviews help build trust and can influence buying decisions. 6. Celebrate their wins. New store? Sold out? Reached a milestone? Got an award? Celebrate with them. Supporting people shouldn't only happen when they're struggling. 7. Share useful information. If you come across grants, exhibitions, markets, training opportunities, or business resources, send them to vendors who may benefit. 8. Avoid unnecessary competition and comparison. There's room for multiple businesses to thrive. Focus on collaboration where possible instead of constantly trying to outdo one another. 9. Be kind in private conversations. Sometimes support isn't public. A simple message checking on a vendor, encouraging them during a slow period, or congratulating them after a win can go a long way. 10. Give credit where it's due. If a vendor inspired you, helped you, or taught you something, acknowledge them. Recognition is a form of support too. At the end of the day, supporting fellow vendors isn't always about money. Sometimes it's a follow, a recommendation, a repost, a review, or simply showing up for them when it matters. #TG30DayVisibility
