Today, I was fired from Meta without any explanation. No warning, no emails, no phone calls. My laptop and glasses were taken and I was escorted out of the Meta office. I was in charge of the Meta OS team, leading our efforts around the wrist band and specifically building out our video call capabilities. I am disappointed and saddened that I was let go but I am hopeful for the future.

my thoughts on meta connect keynote; the Ray-Ban display looks dope but I’m mostly wondering about weight, heat and battery life. + I hope we can use the neural band with other devices, at least the Quest 3. The dream of what virtual reality can achieve is certainly not dead, but we the people who are selling that dream need to do a better job.
