Had a really wonderful evening in @glider_fi's Discord server. @BrianInCrypto the co-founder and CEO was the main speaker in the session. Brian is an MIT alumnus, he has been active in crypto since 2014 and previously worked as a Product Manager at Anchorage Digital and as a high volume trader at XTX Markets, where he managed flows exceeding $20 billion per day. With deep experience bridging traditional finance and blockchain. Here are the main points he talked about in the session: Glider’s New Lending Feature: Brian introduced Glider’s brand new Lending feature, one of the most exciting additions to the ecosystem so far. Users can supply idle assets into lending pools and earn yield directly within the platform, eliminating the need to move funds elsewhere for passive returns. Perplexity Finance: Brian also introduced Perplexity Finance and shared how AI-powered analytics can help users make smarter financial decisions. This adds an intelligence layer giving users stronger research tools alongside execution. Traditional Markets Meet On Chain Finance: He analyzed live charts for the S&P 500, oil prices, and company revenues showing how macroeconomic signals can connect directly with opportunities inside Glider’s ecosystem. Stock Insights: Companies like Eli Lilly and Palantir were highlighted as examples of firms with strong relevance in current market discussions, giving users a broader lens on financial opportunities. Roadmap Alpha: At the end of the session, Brian shared some important updates about the future. He said that incentivized campaigns will start soon, staking will be introduced, a new blockchain is being built, and perpetual trading (perps) is also coming in the future. What I learned: The Lending feature is very important because it allows users to earn passive income from assets that are not being used. This helps improve capital efficiency, which many platforms still lack. Second, using AI tools like Perplexity Finance along with live market and company data gives users better research power. It helps them make smarter decisions. Third, the future plans like staking, new chain, perps, and campaigns show that the team is building for the long term and focusing on the community. It was a really great session overall. I would like to see more sessions like this in the future where he will be talking.😍
