@monetization_x I know many of my followers have said why pay to be throttled?- and cancelled the premium- and it's gonna keep happening if X doesn't get a handle on it

Like I said, I’ve seen some creators who got huge payouts. Overall, it seems like most payouts for large accounts decreased—especially those posting third-party content. There certainly are exceptions and anomalies that make no sense. But, looking at the totality of payouts, it seems like the overall total has gone down. It’s not clear why. It could be: 1️⃣ Lots of Premium cancellations 2️⃣ X changed how big the payout pool is 3️⃣ Lots of reinstated accounts getting backpay 4️⃣ Scammers figured out how to extract more revenue Either way, I’ll keep looking into this. My hope is that these drops are an anomaly and we see stability soon. Because if most creators’ payouts continue to drop, we might see an exodus and further decline in payouts—the death spiral.

@GrrrGraphics 2 peeps hurt by a grizzly in Yellowstone earlier this week.

The bears are testy this spring. 🐻🐻🐻 Sad start to the season, I always warn the tourists don't pet the bears or the bison ....they never listen. A hiker from Fort Lauderdale, Florida has been killed in a bear attack inside Glacier National Park, Montana, the first human fatality from a bear at the park in 28 years. In August 2025, a hiker was injured by a bear but lived. As we say in Montana 'Be Bear Aware' and bring your bear spray! Never, ever hike alone!

@dend531 Alaska is a whole different world with brown bear- yes armed and armed again.

@GrrrGraphics We never go hiking unarmed in Alaska, also don't carry bear spray or wear bells.

@ShannonSel83221 always hike together in groups - important to make noise if you are coming through thick brush or forest- a clap every 10 minutes helps too
