We're here until 6pm today (Saturday) for the town's Step Into Christmas Event. You will find us desperately trying to get to grips with our festive lights...

And just in time for #ColourFriday we have made some coloured beeswax dinner candles. Forget Black Friday and come into town and show all your fabulous independent retailers some love. And when you're in need of a sit down pay a visit to your local bars, cafes and restaurants.

@MacclesfieldTC It's a pity the multistorey parking isn't free too on these occasions. It would benefit the town, shopping centre and the indoor market. How about including the Grosvenor and Jordangate car parks too @CheshireEast? It is nearly Christmas after all, and nobody likes a scrooge.
