Today we honor Dr. William West, who died by suicide. 
His family writes, “We hope systemic changes can be made to support aspiring medical professionals better. This is critical. We don’t want any other families to experience tragedies like this.”

I’ve been fortunate to host talk therapy in barbershops since my 1st year of med school. We provide free haircuts to the community and meet and talk about things with MH professionals. We are destigmatizing MH in communities of color. #AMEC2024 come out! 💈💈 @SNMA @100BlackMen
