But he’s been incredibly consistent and durable. He’s basically averaged 25 touches and a goal a game for 7 seasons, and even averaged 20 touches and kicked 11 goals in his first season!

Richmond being a good side doesn’t tarnish Hawthorns legacy. That Hawthorn side was great.

Both Matthews and coaches awards have become midfielders awards also. Franklin and Ablett are legends of the game but played a lot of great footy pre 2010.
