@lEsethuHasane Wait until the 30th. You will see millions in the streets. Not rioters. Not xenophobes. Patriots. South Africans who have been quiet for too long finally saying enough out loud. Mark your calendar.

SAPS and the Hawks have consistently identified significant foreign national involvement in major drug supply and trafficking networks. Nigerian syndicates are specifically named in multiple prosecution records for cocaine and heroin importation. The Mozambican and Zimbabwean corridors are documented supply routes for heroin and nyaope flooding our townships. Stop manufacturing numbers please.

@hudithebe @FloraAmall @GhostOfTheWest_ Ofc there are bad apple foreigners who are part of it, no doubt but the vast majority. Over 80% of drug consumption & distribution comes from your people. Address that. 90% of sexual violence and violence in general comes from your Men. South Africans are South Africa’s problem

Lola you just answered your own question. Your parents came. Worked legally. Got citizenship. That is exactly what the law requires and exactly what we support. If the Ghanaian woman is a South African citizen or legal resident she has nothing to fear. The law protects her too. But if she's not, and Reuters didn't mention documentation once, then the question isn't why South Africans are reacting. The question is why she was operating illegally in a protected sector for years while the government did nothing. Legal foreigners are not the target. Never were. Stop conflating the two please. Thank you.

My issue is how do you know this lady isn’t a South African citizen? wtf is going on?

Lola the crime statistics in South Africa do not sort by race. They sort by documented vs undocumented. By licensed vs unlicensed. By compliant vs non-compliant. And yes. Asians operating unlicensed businesses in sectors reserved for South Africans are also a problem. White British nationals flouting our laws are also a problem. We are coming for all of it. This is not about black or white. This is about South African or not. Legal or not. Okay.

@hudithebe @FloraAmall @GhostOfTheWest_ What about the asians in your countries or the whites who are from Britain who set up shop in South Africa? Huh? Why is there no attack on them. The problem is you don’t have an issue with them but you specifically target black businesses. Why is that?

Nobody is forced to buy drugs. Correct. Nobody is forced to sell them either. Yet here we are. By your logic we should dissolve every drug enforcement agency in the world because the buyer chose to buy. No supplier is responsible. No trafficker is guilty. Just weak people making choices. That is not an argument. That is a defence of drug dealers dressed as philosophy.

@fx_szb @FloraAmall @GhostOfTheWest_ Salons are legally reserved for South Africans. That's not a job we won't do. That's a job we are legally entitled to. And drug networks running through SA have documented foreign national involvement. Court records exist. Deflection is not a rebuttal.

@hudithebe @FloraAmall @GhostOfTheWest_ Yes you’re the villains if you’re making mothers and children homeless because you somehow think they’re taking your jobs. Jobs you won’t even do. For the drug networks, your people are at the core center of it. South Africans are the ones making the most money from drugs.

Hey Lola. The law reserves salons and informal trading for South African citizens. That law was being broken. I don't condone the looting. I also don't condone pretending the law didn't exist before it happened. Enforce the law before it gets to this point. That is the whole argument.

Nobody is preaching hate. We are preaching enforcement. There is a difference between hating your Zimbabwean brother and telling him to carry his documents. Between hating your Nigerian sister and telling her to operate a licensed business. You asked if hating the Zimbabwean brother fixes the municipality truck. No. But deporting 6000 undocumented nationals frees up housing, hospital beds and jobs for the South Africans those trucks are supposed to serve. You said the tender is stolen by a SA born politician. Correct. We are fighting that too. But two problems existing at the same time does not make one of them disappear. We can fight the corrupt politician AND enforce the border. These are not competing ideas. Only one of them requires us to do nothing.

Jacinta! You can’t hate, beat, kill your fellow African... and call that “fighting” or “fixing the country”. that’s not fighting. That’s a funeral. For both of you. Jacinta, I see your anger. Joburg CBD is broken. Durban is crying. Children dodge drugs on their way to school. I’m angry too. But, tell me: When you hate the Zimbabwean brother, does the municipality truck arrive? When you hate the Nigerian sister, does the Government fix the unemployment rate? No. Hate is a painkiller. It makes you feel strong for 5 minutes. Then the street is still dirty. The job is still gone. The tender is still stolen by a SA-born politician. we must fight the cause, not the cousin.@Mzanziawake

Young South African women trafficked by foreign networks operating freely in our cities. Drug pipelines run by foreign nationals that have destroyed entire communities. Crime statistics that consistently show disproportionate foreign national involvement in serious offences. South Africans are dying too. Quietly. Daily. Without an ICC referral. Without a viral thread. Without a blue tick crying on their behalf. You don't care about Africans being killed. You care about the narrative. Because the moment the victims are South African, you go very quiet very fast. That silence is your real position.

@hudithebe @CyrilRamaphosa @netanyahu For killing Africans on South African soil. The fact that you know that Africans are being killed in xenophobic murders shows how you have become so insensitive to the murdering of human beings

@matigary @CyrilRamaphosa @netanyahu South Africans are being killed daily too. By drugs smuggled through our borders. By expired and poisoned food sold in unlicensed spaza shops. By 12 children who bought something from a foreign owned shop and never came home. Where is your ICC referral for that?

The youth of 1976 was not fighting fellow Africans but an apartheid oppressive system. The subjects are today rejoicing because you are fighting each other instead of them and their stolen wealth. Do with this information what you may 👍🏾

@mailandguardian The ANC did not fail to see this. They chose not to. There is a difference between incompetence and complicity. This is complicity. This not a crisis that arrived. It is a crisis that was allowed.
