Last time I checked increasing the demands to stop a war is not something the losing side does. Iran is in the driver's seat here. The US is not prepared for an extended ground war and they know it. The air war is forcing the US to piss away our missiles at an unsustainable pace. All they have to do is hold up for another week or two, maybe a month, and they will hold all the cards.
