Ghana Says It Won’t Honor International Agreements That Grant Extradition Only To The West Ghanaian Minister for Justice, Justice Srem-Sai, has stated that his country will not be honoring any international agreements which facilitate the extradition of criminal suspects from Africa to the West, but fail to guarantee the reverse. Srem-Sai said this at the 2026 Global Fraud Summit held on March 16 in Vienna, Austria, which brought together delegates from around the world to discuss measures and ways forward in the global fight against fraud. As Western leaders and diplomats performatively lament corruption in Africa, their nations continue to provide safe haven for Africa’s worst criminals and the spoils of their crimes. A 2024 report by Transparency International revealed that over US$3.7 billion worth of corruption-linked assets from Africa remain hidden in Western nations. Western law enforcement agencies have frustrated the efforts of well-meaning Africans to hold their corrupt leaders and their Western accomplices to account, and even covered for these criminals. Yet when Western nations come calling on Africa to extradite its citizens suspected of crimes in the West, the process is a lot smoother. Ghana's statement signals the beginnings of a new dynamic, and comes at a time when many other African nations are taking bold steps to reassert and defend their sovereignty.

Because if you rightfully identify Nigeria (with 230m people, 1m km², etc) as a country under foreign occupation, why on earth would your solution be "Biafra"? "Biafra" - surrounded on all sides by the same Nigeria that you acknowledge is controlled by white people, without any direct access to the ocean and completely landlocked by the non-sovereign Nigeria that would also be hostile to it. What is the plan for survival without becoming yet another foreign dominated African mini-state that needs constant oyibo support to just keep existing? Ask him that question and his answer will basically boil down to: "Because Igbo people are more intelligent than other Nigerians and we are special in God's eyes." Anyway, whenever you wake up to the reality that the ethnic supremacism you subscribe is just another oyibo psy-op is when your day will break. And for the record, "Biafra" itself was just a French man's psy-op. I remember back in 2006 when my older brother was a 5th year medical student at Korle Bu and he caused a big family quarrel during a brief holiday in Lagos where he mentioned casually that he regularly administered blood transfusions to his patients. My dad believed that as a Jehovah Witness, my brother should decline to take part in any medical procedure involving blood transfusion on religious grounds. He didn't even want to know whether such a refusal was even possible under the terms of medical practise (it isn't) - all he knew was that 12 white men in Brooklyn who regularly spoke to "Jehovah" had decreed it so, and how dare us children from a JW family not prioritise those instructions over everything else. And because he convinced himself that his placenta was tied to these stupid Jehovah's Witnesses, he went on to lose his whole family that he spent decades building an empire for, and he died rich, miserable and alone. His first child got married and didn't even inform him because she knew he wouldn't approve. His 2nd child (my brother) invited him to his wedding and he declined because the bride was Catholic. His 4th child (me) got married and he was also absent, and he never met any of the 2 grandchildren he had before he died confused and heartbroken. And after thoroughly fucking up his life, the cult just wakes up one day and changes the entire fundamental doctrine that made him go to war with his own children. There is no way to quantify the damage that has been caused here, and even if there were, oyibo man is definitely never going to pay. As in my dad's case and in the case of every other brainwashed, spiritually lost black person, African wey no gree get sense, na oyibo go kill am. All we can do is cry over spilled milk now.

Since 2002, the International Criminal Court has prosecuted 33 cases. 32 out of those 33 have been African. Apparently no crime worthy of ICC prosecution has been committed anywhere on earth except in Africa for the past 24 years. Now they are making noises about prosecuting the Tanzanian government for last year’s election-related violence (but not the actual instigators and culprits). This was the sort of ludicrously one-eyed decision that made Burundi, Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger leave that institution, and like the rest of the continent, Tanzania will have to make a choice soon. We will either remain voluntarily trapped within institutions built to cage and target us, or walk away and build our own fit-for-purpose institutions.
