Wanted to point out that the advantages of RLNC over RS have been recognized for a long time now. I've published several peer-reviewed papers analyzing the two codes and RLNC is by far the more performant option for both data movement and storage purposes.
This simulator is a great way to see the power of RLNC in action.

2026 End of Year Crypto Predictions!
- Osmosis / Cosmos Hub merger goes through, but after 3 months only $2m of TVL has migrated, and by the end of the year, the DEX has been put into mainatance only mode.
- Injective deprecate CosmWasm and become an EVM L1 instead.
- Mantra go through another name change, this time to Mulltra (named after their CEO JP Mullin).
- Keplr goes into maintenance only mode, leaving Cosmos without a functioning wallet.
- Noble decide to wind down, instead of launching their EVM chain. USDC in Comsos depegs, as the bridge becomes unsupported.
- Kava continue to post on X that they are still alive, despite any chain updates for over 24 months.
