5 Things I Learned at 30 and Wish to Pass on to Younger Ones 👇

These are the changes I almost didn’t notice. Still a long way to go, but I’ve come so far. 2/2

I missed it. I wasn’t in the moment. I no longer drive to work. I’m earning well. I control my time. Instead of rushing to shower after waking up, I now take a 30-minute walk while listening to a podcast. I get a full 8 hours of sleep. 1/

You know what deserves celebration? Yung pagstick mo sa trading plan. That deserves a praise!

If you ask for growth, you are asking for destruction, rebuilding, and initiation of your 2.0.

 The thing that’s tearing you apart is the breakthrough that’s on its way.

1/ If you don’t design your life, someone else will do it for you. That someone is your peers, what you watch and listen to, and any distraction. And trust me, their version won’t be nearly as fulfilling as the one you could create. So take control. Start designing.

Regularly review and refine your trading plan. What works last year may not work this year. Be consistent in backtesting, following the plan, and journaling. You should stay consistent with these three in your whole trading career.

Is it hard for you to write? Don't forget that when building a personal brand, yours will be easy if personal insights are in there. People are naturally glued to stories and that's why how you tell it matters, simply because its authentically yours to tell.

1/ I used to be a flight attendant, often not going home because of unbearable traffic and back-to-back shifts. Now, I work full-time from anywhere. No more traffic. I hit 6K steps, get 8 hours of sleep, and enjoy home-cooked meals.

Decide that you are profitable. And everyday, think and act like one.

Be patient with yourself as you learn and grow as a trader. Yourself should be your no.1 supporter.

Learn from your success but most importantly learn from your losses.

How you start your mornings dictates how you feel, act, and decide the rest of your day. That before you offer yourself to others, to work, it’s yours to nourish and make it full. If the inside is empty, what else is there to give away?

Failure is just feedback—data showing you where action is needed. If you don’t act, nothing changes. Worse, you’ll keep getting the same result. Either act or repeat.
