@iigottoosilly separatism was a ideology built on a foundation of biphobia. it centered shaming bisexual sapphics for experiencing attraction to men and yes did lead to political lesbianism bc bisexual women were desperate not to lose queer community.
biphobia is what links them.

-decentering men- is not the same thing as -not dating men- and that misunderstanding is why y'all think that lesbianism is politically radical.
there is NO sexuality, or gender identity, that inherently makes someone politically correct. there just isn't.

@soapfish222 I don't really think it's male-centered to decide not to date men, but still, it's a political decision and orientation isn't a decision in the first place. it's also wild for them to date women while not being sapphic. nobody's partner should be a prop for a political act
