I get what you’re trying to say, but the wording is kinda off. ‘it’s him holding the group back’ is crazy when line distribution is literally decided by producers, composition, and vocal fit blaming Heeseung like he was deliberately limiting others doesn’t really hold up and ‘they can finally shine’ is such a backhanded thing to say.. stop turning basic production decisions into personal blame narratives

livestreaming the con today made me realize something: it isn't that enhypen is holding hs back, it's him holding the group back, because a majority of the lines always went to him and now that he's no longer a part of the group, members like sunoo and jay can show their vocals more and have more opportunities to shine

They changed the key of the song so he could try to reach the climax. The song completely lost its emotion. I don't blame him, he did the best he could, it's just that Heeseung is on another level, there's no point in denying it. And it will be like this every time they try to replace Heeseung's voice, his identity is in all the songs. It will only be different in the next songs the group records. Because all these songs recorded to date, it doesn't matter, every time the group sings there will be comparisons to Heeseung's voice. Only time will overcome all of this.
