Vimanas were not symbolic metaphors for spiritual ascent. They were aerial vehicles, described in excruciating detail across Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist texts, with technical schematics that read like ancient aerospace manuals. The word “Vimana” literally means “measuring out, traversing”...and it refers to a craft that can move across space, sky, and in some cases...through dimensions. These weren’t flying carpets or myths. These were flying machines. Described. Named. Diagrammed. And, most importantly...piloted. The Vaimanika Shastra, a Sanskrit treatise "rediscovered" in the early 20th century but claimed to be based on older sources by sage Bharadvaja, gets into the nuts and bolts...literally. It outlines 32 secrets of Vimanas, materials to be used (like “Rohini metal” and “Tamogarbha alloy”), and specific fuels. Yes... fuels. One recipe includes mercury, mica, and a strange process of electric charge induction via heated coils. Quote: “By the power latent in the mercury, which sets the driving whirlwind in motion, a man sitting inside may travel a great distance in the sky.” You don't use language like that unless you're talking about propulsion....and propulsion needs engineering, not imagination. The Vaimanika Shastra also speaks of different types of vimanas....Rukma, Sundara, Tripura, and Shakuna. Some were cigar-shaped. Some disc-shaped. Others multi-tiered with anti-gravity cores. One was even described as capable of underwater and interplanetary travel. Each had piloting manuals, instructions for evasive maneuvers, invisibility tech (called “Goodha”), and even onboard weaponry like Marika .... a "mirror weapon" that sounds suspiciously like a directed-energy beam. Some texts even mention mind control beams, sonic disruptors, and materials that could deflect enemy radar. Sound like mythology? Or DARPA? Then there’s the method of control...and this is where it gets pretty interesting. The vimanas were not just physically piloted....they were also mentally interfaced. Through mantras, meditative focus, and alignment with the “vritti” or subtle thought waves of the mind, the pilot could mentally command the craft. It's in the original Sanskrit: “Mana-sarovara pravritti kalpita yatra gati.” Translation: “The movement of the craft is initiated by the thought-flow of the pilot.” Consciousness-controlled propulsion. Wow! And what were they powered by? Multiple sources point to liquid mercury vortex engines, rotating at high speeds in closed circuits, creating a form of anti-gravity or levitational lift. (sound like the vortex machine that Randal Carlson had on the Rogan podcast) Modern plasma physicists and some aerospace engineers have already looked at mercury plasma as a candidate for field propulsion...but ancient texts were talking about this 3,000 years ago. The Samarangana Sutradhara, a 10th-century Sanskrit treatise, explicitly says: “Strong and durable must the body of the Vimana be made... inside it, one must place the mercury engine with its iron heating apparatus beneath.” That’s as close as it gets to a blueprint for a mercury ion drive. To me ...these texts aren’t “myths.” They’re declassified knowledge, encoded into religious texts to survive multiple collapses of civilization. We’re not reinventing flight...we’re remembering it. And the only reason Vimanas sound absurd today is because we’ve been taught that ancient people were primitive. They weren’t. They left us manuals. They left us specs. And until we take them seriously, we’ll keep pretending that spinning rocks into orbit is the height of technology....when our ancestors were already piloting the stars.

I've been researching ancient texts and the origins of humanity for a long time. Longer than most of the so-called experts who just parrot the same tired theories without actually digging into the deeper layers. And I’m about to tell you something that goes beyond what Sitchin ever dared to say. So let’s start with what we know...or think we know. Sitchin popularized the idea that the Annunaki came from Nibiru, genetically engineered humanity to mine gold, and left us to our own devices after they got what they wanted. But that’s just scratching the surface. There’s a whole other layer to this story that hardly anyone’s talking about. And it all revolves around a different group of beings—the Oannes. 🌊 Who Were the Oannes? While the Annunaki came down from the heavens, the Oannes didn’t come from anywhere. They were already here....deep in the waters of the Abzu, the primordial abyss beneath the earth. These beings weren’t aliens arriving from distant stars; they were ancient, aquatic entities who had been part of Earth’s hidden systems for longer than anyone knew. "The first of them, Oannes, appeared in the Persian Gulf. By day he would rise from the sea and impart wisdom to men; At night he would return to the waters." (Berossus, Babyloniaca) These guys weren’t just hanging out at the bottom of the sea. They were teaching humanity fundamental knowledge...everything from writing and agriculture to moral conduct. They weren’t looking to enslave or manipulate. They were uplifting us, showing us how to be more than just another species scrambling for survival. 🌌 The Annunaki: Not Exactly Humanity’s Friends The Annunaki had a different agenda. They didn’t come to nurture us or help us evolve. They came here to mine resources and found out pretty quick that the workload was brutal. Originally, they had the Igigi gods...lesser, labor-class deities...doing the grunt work. But the Igigi couldn’t take it anymore and rebelled. That’s when the Annunaki decided to create humanity to do the work for them. "When the gods instead of man Did the work, bore the loads, The god's load was too great, The work too hard, the trouble too much... Let man bear the load of the gods!" (Epic of Atrahasis, Tablet I) We were born from blood and clay, engineered as slaves. They didn’t care about our potential or our evolution...just whether we could lift and dig without breaking down. And for a while, it worked. We served, we toiled, and we worshipped them as gods. ⚔️ The Conflict: Knowledge and the Flood Here’s where it gets interesting. One of the chief Annunaki, Enlil, wasn’t just the boss...he was obsessed with control. The last thing he wanted was humanity becoming educated and self-aware. But Enki, the god of wisdom and water (and the one responsible for creating humanity), had a different idea. He believed that we deserved knowledge—a chance to become something more than just laborers. So Enki did the unthinkable: he sent the Apkallu (wise beings associated with the Oannes) to teach us. They brought civilization, writing, and moral codes. They made us human in the truest sense. And that’s when Enlil lost it. He decided humanity needed to be wiped out: "The noise of mankind has become too much, I am losing sleep over their racket. Cut off supplies for the peoples, Let there be a flood." (Epic of Atrahasis, Tablet II) The Great Flood wasn’t just about population control. It was about erasing what the Apkallu had given us...that spark of knowledge and awareness that threatened the rigid order Enlil wanted to maintain. 🤝 The Oannes Make a Deal But Enki wasn’t ready to just watch humanity drown. He warned Atrahasis (Utnapishtim) to build a vessel, preserving the seed of human knowledge and survival. The flood came, and the Annunaki saw the devastation—but there were survivors. Enlil was furious, but the Oannes stepped in. They demanded an agreement: The Oannes would be allowed to guide humanity, teaching us wisdom and compassion. The Annunaki would withdraw, no longer directly ruling over human affairs. At a future date, the Annunaki would return to see how we had evolved. That’s the deal. Humanity got a second chance, but it came with conditions. We had to become better, wiser, and kinder...the kind of beings the Oannes always believed we could be. 🌠 The Real Question: Have We Passed the Test? Here’s the kicker: The Annunaki never left for good. They’re waiting, watching, and preparing to return. The whole point of the deal was to see if we would evolve beyond our origins as laborers and become truly civilized beings. And if they don’t like what they see when they come back? Who knows. But the deeper story here is that the Oannes saw something in humanity worth saving. They were ancient when the Annunaki arrived, and they remain guardians of wisdom. They didn’t see us as slaves...they saw us as potential equals, capable of rising above our brutal beginnings. If there’s one thing I’ve learned from years of studying these texts, it’s that history keeps repeating itself. The Oannes believed we could break the cycle. The Annunaki weren’t so sure. And now, as we inch closer to their prophesied return, we’re about to find out if the experiment paid off...or if we’re still just primitive beings clinging to the dirt. Think about it....makes sense to what many experiencers have said .. there are factions here .. and some out there!

@arrowbombadil Confused by the slide apparently equating the Vajra/Dorje to a Trident. I’m holding a Vajra/Dorje right now (one of mine) and they are definitely Not Tridents. Never have been

Another interesting rabbit hole. Too bad I have a paper to write this morning, the vibe seems great on X. "Viktor Stepanovich Grebennikov was a Russian scientist known for claiming to invent a levitation platform using dead insect parts, which is referenced in the context of the discussion about anti-gravity beetles. The discussion is part of a thread exploring the possibility of beetles using unconventional flight methods, possibly involving zero-point energy or anti-gravity techniques."
Ashton Forbes@AshtonForbes

Anti-gravity Beetle not impacted by someone moving it around mid flight. Imagine trying to do this to a bird. No way those tiny wings support this chonkster with conventional flight. Are these bugs interacting with zero point energy via resonance?

Nobel Prize physicist thinks consciousness must underlie the universe Brian Josephson, after whom the Josephson effect in electronics is named, hopes to find the answer to the conundrum of consciousness in biology mindmatters.ai/2024/08/nobel-… As Kuhn marvels, Josephson reasons his way to precisely the sorts of conclusions generally accepted in major world religions.
