As Adam (who I live with) is on antibiotics in hospital, & the yard where my #horse lives has been totally flooded, today has been a bit tiring (& work is backing up). Did manage 1hr of groundwork & ridden with Shadow & 1hr of an exercise class for riders this eve post visiting.

Ministers last week rushed an amendment through the Commons, allowing it to look into the bank account of everybody claiming State Pension. Their only reason was that it might be useful one day. The only change which could make it useful would be to means test the State Pension

Was saying similar yesterday in relation to all parts of academic work. I used the phrase Human work, refusing it to be made into something machine like; I want to calmly refuse (not bracingly resist) a way of being I don’t want to be & just do what I feel needs to be done.

3+ yrs since I first rode my girl Ive ‘at last’ tumbled in the school - after a hack where she was chill with dogs, cyclists, runners, cars, a wheelchair user & other pedestrians. …back in the school a fast reversing delivery van sent her left and me out the right door. #horses
