Smh with my partner it is easier he knows how to talk to me and motivate me. He isn't even against me having a career but... realistically I myself don't know if I can pull it.

When I started to talk like that mom was like "but what will you eat and where will you sleep if we can't support you" Well, survival isn't about success :) these are too different things. Again, I understand their anxieties. But therapy usually helps to detect motivation.

I just run on intristic motivaton. Success is external. I am trying to make peace with that. Btw I deduce it's much about their soviet trauma. So I understand them. Still disagree tho.

It's kinda crazy how hard that Special Interest thing can hit. I am glad me and my darling agreed I can be a stay-at-home cuz... it generally simplifies my life. I can just be a nerd. Sadly my parents wish I was more success-oriented.
