This is just absurd fluidity to a delivery. I’ve never been more confident a hard throwing prep righty will be able to handle 150+ IP a year than with this kid. Lower half power is insane, frame is ideal and mechanics are ideal

Logan Gilbert has an absurd ability to manipulate the baseball. A sinker with that kind of shape from his arm slot is ridiculous. That deathball slider looks unfair, and the splitter is on a completely different level. There is just so much to love in this arsenal.

Catcher Mitch Garver and the Seattle Mariners are in agreement on a minor league deal, sources tell ESPN. Garver, 35, spent the last two seasons with the Mariners and will compete for the backup catcher job to AL MVP runner-up Cal Raleigh.
