Going through 6 rounds of interviews and a mock project earlier this year for a role i has niche experience for and not getting an offer really radicalized me (i checked back months later and the role was still open so it clearly is a phantom role)

People are sending 30 or 40 job applications a day. Three, four rounds of interviews. Still nothing. We are flirting with Great Depression level unemployment for young adults. But sure. Tell them to “just work harder.”

@kyleanthony I used to make stuff in a similar style all the time a few years ago; channeling the energy of City 17 from Half-Life propaganda and mixing it with my own story and minutia. One day I'll get back into creating work I actually love again. Keep it up, dude.

@SarahBurssty I got a fairly detailed response from an employee that is an alum of my program in college, she wanted to see my work etc.. but then I never heard back and was eventually rejected. Maybe one day we'll break through!
