@WeAreDeucez @Flakzzmusic @invoymusic And with Vietnam, more people in the US were pro-war than not. So just because there were protests doesn't mean much when 65% of the population wants war. Russia needs to topple a dictator and that requires revolution.

@WeAreDeucez @Flakzzmusic @invoymusic Yeah, it's illegal to revolt against the government and Russia has an extensive history of revolution. The laws don't apply to people that care enough to change the way their country is run. If enough people in Russia actually cared then they would do something about it.

This is my very ignorant reply to something I know absolutely knowing about. I wish I hadn't of made the tweet at all. I was upset about a belief I had being contradicted and thats not even remotely okay. This thread is to educate.

@WeAreDeucez @Flakzzmusic @invoymusic I understand you want to sympathize with the Russian people but over a year with practically no protests or partisan activity, it speaks a lot about what Russians actually want. If this happened with the US invading Mexico for example, there would be riots in the streets.

@WeAreDeucez @Flakzzmusic @invoymusic This conflict is way past the need for fence-sitters and if you don't see the need to supply UA units with more firepower to fight Russians attempting genocide then it seems you already chose a side whether you like it or not. Wanting UA freedom is not national extremism.

@WeAreDeucez @Flakzzmusic @invoymusic All the decent Russians fled the country. Most of the population inside Russia now want to turn the world into ash. I watch Russian state media to learn this myself and the mindset of the average Russian in Russia right now is disgusting.

@WeAreDeucez @Flakzzmusic @invoymusic At the very least the Russian citizens are cowards and complicit for keeping their real beliefs to themselves. I’ve been read thousands of posts from Russian telegram channels and I implore you to do that as well and maybe you’ll understand what @Flakzzmusic is getting at.

@teskariel @nbsparth @CIevarUsername None of the art in the final game is built from AI though it’s used mostly as a mood board type implementation. All art in the game is created by me.

AI art: A lot we still don’t know but there’s something I am sure of. After 25 years of Art Direction in the video game industry and having had to assemble many Concept art teams over the years, I can assure you I would never ever consider hiring a supposedly “prompt artist”.

@jayographic @nbsparth @CIevarUsername maybe unethical? Thats like saying, can I sample Michael Jackson’s vocal from Billie Jean and make my own song with it because I’m a small creator? You could, but in the long run, you’re still infringing on someone else’s art because you’re using it without their consent.

@nbsparth @CIevarUsername I totally understand AAA studios being reprimanded for using it but being a jack of all trades and wearing all the hats as an indie dev, AI is removing possibly hundreds if not thousands of hours of work so I can focus on actually developing my game.

@nbsparth @CIevarUsername So if I’m a solo indie dev that utilizes Midjourney to flesh out my concepts, even though nothing from Midjourney will actually be in the game, I am in the wrong? Is this considered illegal? Just coming from a place of understanding here and not trying to be a contrarian.

@FROXEDD @infektdubstep I agree trench should focus on a certain sound but I don’t think that’s what Infekt is talking about. From what I understand he wants to change everything under the term “Riddim” to Trench

@jayographic @infektdubstep I think this sound is more like a mix of oldschool riddim and tearout. If you heard infekt's "Spark" on patreon, that's my description of trench sound design.

the reason why trench came up was because the response on my random thought “trench sounded cooler than riddim” was OVERWHELMINGLY positive, so I thought hey, maybe we can make it a thing. if people don’t want to adopt it after all, it’s ok with me
