Jake is in Chicago competing in their first collegiate debate tournament, weird but also really cool see their name listed with Missouri State instead of LHS.

My mom made my room a sewing room right after I left for college, yesterday we made Jake's room a quilting space so I crank out a quick quilt. History repeats itself.

Preparing for the renovations in our Courthouse office means packing up my office. Going through 18 years of clerk/elections, but also all the years of my kids hanging out in my office, finding their toys etc.

Yep, I got emotional when this happened, Jake voted for the first time.

In 2020, we implemented Ballot Scout, a ballot tracking system It takes extra work to get the individual tracking on each envelope,but worth it. One of my favorite things to do is watch the ballots move around the state and the country. 74% of our ballots are already delivered.

@DCLogan I think we don't want to give it voice and power, but in doing so a lot of election officials feel alone in their struggle. There is a mental health challenge for us to address.

My wife and I have dealt with the threats and stuff for years, but my kids become a different story but I think it will just keep getting worse. And I know nothing I am dealing with is like what those in other states are dealing with everyday 3/?.
