@justarieldotcom @caracus2k @energygovuk Definitely helps both nuclear and renewables, but you have the same seasonal problem when your peak demand occurs a handful of times per year, your storage has very few cycles to cover it's capex.

Sometimes there is too much wind for our outdated grid to handle, especially in Scotland and the East of England. Rather than paying wind farms to switch off we’re trialling a new system where people who live near these constrained areas get cheaper - or even free - electricity.

@caracus2k @justarieldotcom @energygovuk Yes, and capitalism hates the higher cost. And we need to provide power for all the demand on the grid, not just the steady base load. Not producing all the time but having the same high construction costs makes nuclear even more expensive.

I spent £50 on a week of Google Ads, got 152 visitors but no clients. I know why... I run a test advert for one of my companies. This is my first Google Ad. I got 152 hits on my landing page but no conversions. Why? Simple. My landing page is shit. I built it utilising the best practices I found online, via Google. It has not worked. I spent £50 to find out that my landing page is bad. Some could've told me this for free! I think it's time to start utilising @RmndDesign 's Pagerekt correctly 😅
