Oct 22-23, Dr. Karand, UD colleagues, & Whitaker program, hosted approx. 50 undergrads from several universities for a workshop. Students worked in teams to design medical devices for low-resource settings. International cultural mentors from sub-Saharan Africa guided the teams.
