First time dengar pasal ‘nasi lemak effect’. Tapi ada betulnya.
Masa tahun 2001-2006, selalu sangat ambil peluang jalan-jalan Lowyat dengan @h4iq4l cari barang komputer.
Dulu kita selalu anggap setiap kedai tu ownernya lain-lain. Tapi ramai yang sebut banyak kedai ownernya orang yang sama.
Mungkin sekarang strategi yang sama di Shopee/Lazada shops. Barang yang sama, owner yang sama. Sales tak putus-putus.

The CEO said competition is fuel for growth. In Malaysia, we just call it the "nasi lemak effect.” Stall A had a monopoly for years. The rice was cold and the auntie never smiled. Then stall B opened across the road with a viral TikTok. Suddenly, stall A "found her fuel." The rice became fragrant and the auntie started calling everyone "sayang." Competition didn't change the economy. It just stopped the auntie from being lazy. I’m currently fueling my growth by watching my neighbor’s evening runs. He is getting into some shape I envy. I’m buying new running shoes tonight.
