You don’t need to ban the Internet if everyone voluntarily lives inside five apps. You don’t need a Ministry of Truth when the system can bury, throttle, fragment, demonetize, ridicule, or addict people away from sustained thought. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

You don’t miss them. Not really. You miss the version of yourself that only existed in their eyes. They’re gone now. So is the version of you they once loved.

We mistake marketing for meaning. Algorithms for truth. Beauty for profit. Culture is no longer inspiration. It's manufactured by committees to generate clicks, outrage, and brand loyalty. Everyone sees the same content, speaks the same dead meme language. The individual is dead.

@BiancoDavinci As mounted heavy cavalry and shock troops of the time, a knight fighting on foot outside of a tourniment meant the battle had already gone wrong for the cavalry wing. Still formidable, but prone to pikemen, spearmen, and fresh mounted knights riding down disorganized foot troops.

i just can't imagine a medieval knight in a real battle.

some days a burnout can look like quiet. no flames, no chaos… just a soft dimming like the sun slipping away without a sound. you’re still there, still breathing, just… less loud, less you, moving through the world like a ghost in your own skin

Someday modern people will learn to recognize the language of fear and seek one of peace and love. Until that day arrives the algorithm will continue to try and manipulate you. Put the phones down. There is truth and beauty in the real world that needs an observer.
