I talk a lot about sports and make attempts at being humorous on Twitter.

Here’s the crowd at Neville Arena about 10 minutes before tipoff.

"I'm here to coach basketball. The guys on my roster are here to play basketball. We're all here to compete... I’m not going to take my ball and go home because we didn’t make the tournament.” - Steven Pearl on why Auburn is playing in the NIT

A second independent source has told @thewarrapport that Jon Sumrall soured on the Auburn job after being presented with a series of discouraging narratives about what coaching on the Plains would entail. Those accounts ranged from stories of overreaching boosters to allegations of staffers embedded within the program for the purpose of monitoring and reporting on the head coach. In short, virtually every familiar negative trope about coaching at Auburn was repackaged and relayed to him until he ultimately backed away from the opportunity. The source states financials had no impact on his decision; Auburn’s offer to Sumrall was equal to Florida’s, with a stronger incentive structure. @thewarrapport

I guess this is what to expect, when the snap benefits run out 😳
