MRT-3 ADVISORY SPARKS DEBATE The re-shared advisory from DOTr MRT-3, which prohibits luggage larger than 2 feet by 2 feet, has drawn mixed reactions from social media users on Wednesday, April 2. "Ang malalaking bagahe ay maaaring makaokupa ng malaking espasyo sa loob ng mga bagon na pwede pang magamit ng ibang pasahero," the advisory states. One commuter expressed frustration, calling the policy anti-commuter: "What if I want to save money and lessen emissions when going to the airport? Please reconsider. It's not like everyone brings big luggage daily. Not to mention, the stations themselves are not luggage-friendly to begin with." Another user compared MRT-3 to transit systems in other countries: "Kaya ‘di kayo makasabay eh. In Thailand, BTS, MRT, and ARL allow large luggage without issues. Of course, luggage takes up space, but that’s expected. People take the MRT/LRT to Taft so they can save on fares before taking a cab or Grab. Instead of making it harder for commuters, why not add more train cars? DOTr MRT-3, okay lang kayo?" MRT-3 repeated its response, emphasizing the need to free up space inside trains. A third commuter criticized the policy as inconsiderate: "Grabe naman. Sa ibang bansa nga, trains are connected to airports and allow luggage. Napaka anti-poor niyo—gusto niyo mag-taxi pa ‘yung may bagahe? DOTr MRT-3, walang puso at empathy." MRT-3, once again, reiterated its earlier response. What do you think of this policy?

An interesting change of approach from Audi in how best to attract top talent from the UK. If you can't convince staff to move to Switzerland to work in the factory there... then give them a factory near where they live. the-race.com/formula-1/audi…
