@libush_26 My two cents, as a first responder (fire), me as a woman, I like to have extras of stuff in my bag while some guys only carey minimal stuff back and forth to the station like Tim. A lot still have duffles. But TR is pretty accurate there. Some carry more some less.

I feel like two of the sweetest things to come from s8, is 1: how comfortable Tim is with the certainty that Lucy loves him. And 2: that Lucy is deeply happy again. If feels like her trust in Tim has been fully restored, and they're both ready for the next chapter.

What if Everett sues Tim? We heard Malcom Walsh talking to him at the phone! Maybe Wesley is there as a defense attorney to help Tim? Tim knows that Everett might be after him and he makes Lucy stay at the station in order to protect her? #TheRookie

@RookieNisy I can’t imagine they will make it 30 seconds, given they spent 2 episodes leading up to it. Though I agree it shouldn’t feel rushed. Honestly I am so grateful for what we have gotten so far, hearing Tim pour out his heart. A proposal in the finale will be the cherry on top!

(I’ve not seen any spoilers or watched the episode yet) I’ve started thinking more about how the proposal should go and if we have only 30 secs left in the episode for it, I’d rather have that next season with a proper speech and celebration! #TheRookie #Chebmnford

@romantashas @warrennie24 I honestly love it! The wait is gruelling, but I hate even more waiting between episodes arbitrarily so to stretch it out.

@warrennie24 I think this works if they both premiere in fall, but 18 weeks in a row together is...intense.

I think the best option for the upcoming slate is to air The Rookie in the fall, give it a long midseason break, in which they air The Rookie North for a short season, before The Rookie returns. I hope ABC does this, but we’ll see.

@romantashas While I want it earlier, I absolutely hate mid-season breaks that are sometimes 6 weeks, 4 week, 2 week just to spread out the season over 6 months. I have loved getting back to back episodes! It also gives them more time for special effects so we get bigger episodes.

You get to be inside their world - inner thoughts and experiences. It’s like reading their diary. It isn’t making the reader the main character….

@RosanovRevival @ilyaslestat My life's crazy enough before being a main character in a book I'm reading 🤣 Third Person allows me to be that "side character" that "fly on the wall" and enjoy the story without getting stressed out over what "I" am facing! 😅

I don’t read much AUs because if the characters have such different life experiences from the source material, it reads like the characters in name only. What they’ve been through makes them who they are. But I’ve read many incredible AUs and have respect for all fan fic writers!
