@T_E_F_L_O_N Did they qualify for that land allocation by the requirements ULC set? And how did they end up with 4 acres instead of the 3 that ULC allocated them? Or we don't want to acknowledge that corruption and abuse of office because you want us to look over there at the Ministers?

I see "journalists" and some wannabe economists falling over themselves about how Phaneroo obtained land at Naguru. Their bogus "investigative journalism" never takes them to how some Ministers made deals on that land; "we offer you 4 acres, we share 50/50".

@kirabomeansgift @astarluke @MwesigyeWalter @JCWamala This is MBU News indeed 😂 You forget that the whole spectacle played out publicly in parliament? We won't even mention the fraudulent allocation and how people were offered land they didn't qualify for. Apooso abakozesezza ebintu bambi 🤣

Phaneroo worshipers are evoking their "holy ghost" on me for speaking what they don't want to hear. Also, they're shooting at passers-by like @JCWamala. Anyway, just speak to your leadership because ghosts mean nothing to me.

Firstly the institute is still undergoing comstruction, secondly our father loves people so much that he can never do anything to hurt them, he will always choose to do right as Christ loved the church. Go slow, because he is a man with an understanding heart.
Walter Mwesigye@MwesigyeWalter

Phaneroo worshipers don't want to hear what their leadership is doing to block @HeartUganda an emergency route in Naguru. This matter is not new, just use the energy to speak some humanity to your leadership.

@MwesigyeWalter @JCWamala Am not a Phaneroo person but y did the gov't wait for Phaneroo an organisation to purchase the land before they thout it was an important way. These people spend a lot of money acquiring these pieces of land. If u have anythg that expensive, u will understand the inconvenience.

Phaneero leadership is blocking efforts of the Uganda Heart Institute to access an emergency route around their grounds yet when they have prayers they close off Naguru rd blocking access to Naguru hospital! What kind of Holy ghost do they pray to?

@edrine_kyax @DavidLumansi Isn't that just convenient though? Use etymology to claim uniqueness of the title, then brush it aside when questioned further? Nze kyenkakasa nti bwekiba kyaava ku kalombolombo, wateekwa okubaawo ssekabaka omu gwekyaatandikirako. Kati abaasooka oyo bbo baali bayitibwa batya?

Ennono y'ekigambo Kabaka esibuka mu mpisa Abaganda jebaabangawo nga Kabaka akisizza omukono, okumujjako AKABA/OLUBA (the jaw) nekaterekebwa. Embeera bweyeetagisanga okwawula OBUBA (Plural for AKABA) nga bagamba KANO KABA KA JJUNJU, KABA KA CHWA etc. Not all Kings do that
Duncan Abigaba@DuncanAbigaba

No, Daniel. Kabaka is the Luganda word for King. If you dig into Luganda literature, you’ll find references such as Kabaka wa Banyankore to mean Omugabe, or Kabaka wa Banyoro to mean Omukama.

@kasujja please as the chief spox could you please let Ugandans in the diaspora understand the justification for charging $100 for a AIN. How/when did I qualify to be referred to as an alien when I was born in Uganda, still a Uganda passport and National ID? If I’m alien with the proposed card and number does that mean I’m not required to pay a visa fee when coming to Uganda? Ndugu help me and maybe hundreds of Ugandans with the same concerns.

@lightning_hands @DenisDukeUG Glad that you admit your lack of facts. If it were a cross examination, I would have said, 'No more questions, my Lord', and took a comfortable sit.

@taye_edgar @DenisDukeUG I think it is self-evident. One who dismisses all the present alternative evidence just because their favourite format of figures is missing, commits the logical fallacy of false dichotomy. It is a clear indicator that one does not seek to educate themselves beyond what they know

If you don’t know Luganda, it’s on you sir. Luganda unlike Kiswahili or any other language is the second mostly spoken language in Uganda other than the national language English. Not knowing Luganda definitely puts you at a disadvantage. You’ll go to Moroto and speak Luganda and people will respond. Go to Gulu, same thing. I have always suggested we make Luganda our second national language. If I become president in 2041, this will be among my assignments
outabrian@outabrian2

Why do Baganda always assume every Ugandan understands their language ? A nigga will pop outta nowhere speaking expecting you to automatically understand what they saying

@taye_edgar @DenisDukeUG A logical option is to examine the facts that u have, rather than fixate on what u dont have. Pick up a history book & read. The absence of figures doesnt negate the well-recorded history of the prevalence of Swahili in Kenya and Tz from the 7th century, over indigenous languages

@taye_edgar @DenisDukeUG As you can see from the final paragraph of that screenshot, there are no reliable sources for those figures you want. That data is only available post independence. Even if it was available, I don't think it would convince you, as you'd find another angle to deny the obvious 😅

@lightning_hands @DenisDukeUG Boss, dont run away from figures. That screenshot is what you have been arguing. And I challenged you to run figures. That is not bastardising. It is putting a discussion in real context.

@taye_edgar @DenisDukeUG I think you can Google that - let's not bastardise the debate. Kiswahili advocacy in Uganda is pointless neo-colonialism as it isn't indigenous to Uganda & efforts to teach it since 2005 have failed. Luganda is today's language of trade in Uganda, English helps us beyond borders.

@lightning_hands @DenisDukeUG Bring the figures sir. Show what percentage of Kenyans and Tanzanians spoke kiswahili at the time of independence of each country, compared to the national population of each country. That should end this argument.
