In this blog, Chief Scientist Dr Arif Ahmad shares his excitement on Lockular’s LokuBox platform: I'm thrilled to introduce Lockular’s LokuBox platform, a groundbreaking advancement over the traditional file systems used by companies such as Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive. Imagine a filesystem that leverages cutting-edge security and technology to safeguard and manage data like never before. That's what LokuBox brings to the table. The LokuBox platform is blockchain-native, this means the file system is rooted inside the blockchain, underpinned by two patented technologies which dissemble and reassemble the shares, and write an irrefutable point of audit. The blockchain itself generates the audit to the chain. If individual shares are compromised, the data remains secure. You only need a specific threshold of shares to reconstruct and access the file contents, providing an intrinsic and robust defense against DDoS and Ransomware attacks. Moreover, LokuBox incorporates blockchain technology for provenance tracking. Every file disassembly and reassembly event is recorded on the blockchain, creating tamper-proof logs. This ensures data integrity and traceability, making audit trails and forensic analysis a breeze—capabilities unheard of in conventional setups. Welcome Back, Nikita Gugale! We’re thrilled to have Nikita Gugale back in the office after an incredible month at the @AcademyPolkadot in Singapore. Provenance for critical national infrastructure designs

We’re thrilled Lockular’s Nikita Gugale has been accepted on to the Polkadot Academy and will spend the next four weeks at the academy in Singapore along with fellow students from around the world, honing her expertise in Polkadot technology. Lockular chose Polkadot as the foundation for our supply chain provenance solutions because of Polkadot Parachains, which provide flexibility, scaleability, and securely and seamlessly interact with other parachains so they become part of a larger interoperable network while retaining their independence and specialisation.
