Understand what happened. The only "wrong" thing Janine did was buy tickets to the trip they both agreed to go on.
Think about that. He was mad about his girlfriend covering the cost for transportation because HE felt it was a waste of money. I'm sorry, but relationship or not. You do not have say over your boyfriend/girlfriend finances.
He literally changed the entire trip without consulting her and pretty much told her to be okay with that.
You can never get me to think Janine did anything wrong.

I think it's one of the few things Korra did RIGHT. It makes complete sense that someone like Toph was given zero freedom and too much affection turned around and became the parent she wished she had, and gave her kids zero affection and too much freedom.

I do not wish to partake in too much more Avatar discussion because I value what few brain cells I have left, but I will say this since we are on the subject: TLoK turning Toph into a deadbeat single mother of two children by two different fathers is one of the worst and most unsavory writing decisions for a show I have ever seen.
