I'm sorry, but this does not cut it. I have had chronic eye issues where commissions had to be delayed. I felt so bad for delaying them that I actually continued drawing despite bring in pain and having cloudiness in my eye. Those commissions are usually completed within a week of the delay and this is always communicated to the client. If they ask about it, I will update them with the progress I had made instantly. Trust is built by constant communication and actually submitting work on agreed deadlines, so that clients would be willing to work with you again. I know of so many artist that suffer from wrist pains and body aches or other chronic issues and art is their only form of income and yet they are able to complete their commissions even if there are unfortunate slight delays. Use a tracker to track your commissions and deadline, set aside time each day/week to complete them and the remaining time to plan your schedules. If you are doing art as a full time job, time to treat it like one.

I want to be honest about the situation and publicly apologize to my clients for my unprofessional behavior. I have dedicated a significant amount of time to completing orders. Currently, I am doing my best to keep you informed about updates, including my personal circumstances, burnout, and health. When I am drawing, I try to work quickly, without rushing, so that I can keep you updated, even if only in writing. If I am experiencing delays, it is because I am suffering from physical pain, but I recognize that this in no way excuses the delays in completing orders. I also wanted to talk about the Adoptables and the fact that I'm accepting more orders, even though I already have several pending. I'm taking on extra orders to have enough to eat every day, but I'm only taking small orders that are easy to complete without too much physical effort. This allows me to continue living while still being able to heal from the injuries and keep working on the old commissions. I wanted to let people know that I'm trying to update everyone and finish their comms and I'm slowly but quickly working on them. I truly love drawing and I put my efforts and pay attention to every detail, it wasn't my intention to let it come to this and I'm aware I messed up. As a solution I will be taking responsibility won't be taking commissions for the time being and work on my current queue until it's fully cleared out. I will prioritize orders whose deadline has already passed, before those whose deadline has not yet passed. Orders with the oldest deadline will be processed first. This may therefore cause delays for commissions with upcoming deadlines. I hope you will take into account that I am trying my best to rectify what I have done wrong, and I also apologize in advance for the upcoming commissions that will be delayed due to this. Lastly, I would like to reiterate my sincere apologies to my valued clients for my unprofessional behavior and I promise that it will not happen again. If I have failed to inform you, please do not hesitate to contact me via private message to discuss this. I hope these changes will resolve the complex situation I am in and help to excuse myself to the clients who have been neglected for too long. - kream 💗🪽

i cannot fathom those artists who still open commissions even with a queue that stretches out to months or even YEARS... i would've had a panic attack just by seeing how many it is (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ)
