@Poke_mxxn4 @ifachartz I love Mel, but she did absolutely nothing for Zaun before Jayce and Viktor. There’s no evidence she did anything to ease the suffering of people in Zaun until they arrived. Ironically, Cassandra was the only one who actually did something (the vents and pipes)

@ifachartz I absolutely agree with your criticism of Mel's position and how she should have done more but I think you're being unfair by saying she only cared when Jayce came around. Maybe that's my reading but I think she was trying to do something for Zaun while maintaining her status

Mel was literally a councilor in an oppressive gov for years. She was literally benefiting from zaunite exploitation and only decided to care after jayce became a councilor. Zaunites developed incurable diseases bc of the exploitation from ppl like her, jayce, salo, heimer etc
