@jamie_maguire1 Fair enough! Having a zero touch existence would be quite an experiment. I hope you wouldn’t have a fire or generate any rubbish as your plot might start to get a bit smelly or unsightly unless you want to start your own landfill. I’d love to see someone try it and blog it

@markjhiggins Consider a person living on remote land, self-sufficient in terms of security, water, energy, very little waste, etc.

In the UK, you can buy land to live off grid (with no utility bills). You must still pay council tax. You can't just buy land, erect a fence, and be left alone. Wild.
