@dctommyhoops @Jeff_Ermann While I love what Mills did this year, I get this feeling that Wagner has the higher ceiling. I'm a sucker for 5 stars, we've seen first hand what time/development and being in the right situation can do for a player. And the table seems set for Wagner.

@Jeff_Ermann Are multi-year contracts between schools and players not an option? There is very little distinction remaining between college athletics and professional sports. If would seem to offer the stability the NCAA needs. With contract outs for coaching changes, NBA draft, etc.

I don't think anything will be fixed until the players are classified as employees. Until then,nearly every effort to cut down on the unhealthy amount of player movement will be shot down in court.

@Jeff_Ermann If you ruled the world, what would your solution be? I’m just some dummy on twitter, but I would limit transfers to once per 5 years (to play 4) and also if your coach leaves.

@jmooney45 @Jeff_Ermann You paid those schools tuition to attend. These are paid athletes. Requiring a commitment shouldn't be unreasonable, like other professional sports.

@Jeff_Ermann As an general student at Salisbury, I could’ve transferred to Towson my sophomore year, to Md my junior year, and university of Hawaii my senior year and nobody would have said anything to me about limiting where I can go to school.

@theMLbball @Jeff_Ermann Neither team has any transfers. One team has a top six recruiting class and the other has a guy. And you see that as equal. I would say that you are in the minority. Time will tell.

If ever you're upset about anything Maryland basketball-related, remember that Rutgers is locked in with Steve Pikiell at about $4 mil a year (!) through 2031 (!), and they can't fire him because they have a $500 million (!) deficit.

@Jeff_Ermann Based on what I’ve seen they are the same both short-term and maybe long-term except Rutgers is going to spend more money than they have in future on NIL so that might be a difference. MD’s top recruit doesn’t even want to play his senior year in HS 🤦♂️

@RGIII__ I don't understand your problem. Did you really expect Buzz to put together a competitive team this year? They were late to the portal game and patched together this band of misfits. His recruiting has been excellent. Take a breath.
