It is already apparent that there will be Kentucky fans who want this team to lose next season just to get rid of Pope. I believe this is not only wrong but is doing a disservice to our players. It’s important that we all support the new team no matter your opinion on Pope.

@TWonderD he’s a superstar, people just don’t realize it yet, #33 in a stacked class and he’s learned the system for a whole year while adding 20 pounds of muscle, people complaining about us not having a star will stop complaining once the season is underway.

NEW: Kentucky’s Roster is essentially finished at this point. Without a surprise late “star” commitment, this is likely Kentucky’s starting 5, and main rotation. (Including 1 more C) Not gonna post a Portal Big Board, as Kentucky sits officially with 0 public targets at this moment. @bbnlog @Burke_Franklin_ Go touch grass, and get off twitter. It’s not that deep. He has been to the sweet 16 and round of 32 after a horrific injury season. He’s not going anywhere. Especially when he isn’t embarrassing the university. Fans and KSR aren’t that powerful.

@tyrese1717 Younger fans got used to Cal making a splash every off season. It will take years before that wears off. Mark Pope is doing the right thing here. This team is younger and will stick around a lot longer signing them to 2 year contracts is so fucking smart. People have no idea.
