3rd Class began their first week of 2026 with some iPad time, where they worked together to solve maths problems and played some online vocabulary games in Irish. It’s great to be back in school with friends 📚

Guess who’s paws-itively thrilled to be back at school? 🐾 Our therapy dogs Alfie & Steve officially reported for duty this week after a well-deserved summer break! They’re lending a paw in easing the back-to-school transition, spreading calm and comfort 🐶💛 @mycaninecompani

Welcome back to school to muinteoir Andreas class. We had three boys starting Big school in junior infants today. We also had loads of fun in the wonderful new play Village on the yard and playing with all our friends. It’s great to be back!!! Smiles all round ☺️

2nd Class enjoying Cosy Reading Day! 📚

Our hurlers played two more games today in sunny Cloyne. The boys had an excellent win against Cloyne and then dug deep to see off a very strong Leamlara side by three points at the end. Again, they were a credit to our school. Thanks to all the parents who helped out today 🙌

Our Sciath na Scol hurlers players their first game today against a good Watergrasshill team. We lost by two points in what was an epic game. We are so, so proud of the boys’ attitude and commitment today. A credit to our school 🙌

The boys from 5th and 6th class took part in the munster primary schools tennis competition today. There were some great performances across all three teams, well done boys @CorkSports @TableTennisIRE

The boys from 4th,5th and 6th class competed in the FAI 5 a side competition on Friday. We are so proud of the attitude and sportsmanship they showed all day. CBS Abu

Working on mixing watercolour paints in M. Kara's this week. So different to working with poster paints but the boys learned loads and had fun too 🎨
