A guest in the universe | music & graphic artist #IOTA | I value innovative developments that will positively influence the future

This week, we shared difficult news internally: as part of an organizational restructuring, the IOTA Foundation is reducing the size of its team to lower our burn rate and further extend our runway. These decisions are never easy. Our industry is going through a significant structural shift, and like every serious project we are making hard choices now so that we can emerge from it stronger and more financially independent. We are saying goodbye to talented colleagues who have contributed greatly to IOTA, and we want to thank each of them for everything they have helped build. The purpose of this change is to align our organization more tightly around our highest-priority initiatives and to give us the focus and runway to execute on the opportunities ahead. Most important among them is TWIN - our work to turn our cross-border trade infrastructure into a growing, revenue-generating business that can support IOTA and the Foundation's mission for the long term. Our broader focus remains unchanged: advancing digital public infrastructure, trusted trade, and real-world adoption. If there is one word that defines IOTA, it is perseverance. We have lived through every market cycle, won many battles and lost others, and have always pushed forward. We have succeeded through all these markets because we genuinely care about each other and about the mission we're on. That is exactly why a decision like this is so hard to make - but essential for the longevity of IOTA. We're confident that these changes leave IOTA more focused, more resilient, and built to last.

Global trade keeps the world moving, but it’s still trapped in paper. One transaction can involve 30 stakeholders, 240 paper copies and weeks of delays. TWIN is the trusted trade network built to fix that. Watch how in just over 2 minutes. #TrustedTrade

"Certificate of Origin" sounds simple. It's a document proving where goods were made - which determines tariff rates, trade agreement eligibility, and sometimes whether goods are allowed in at all. They are routinely forged. Routinely accepted anyway. Because there has been no fast way to verify them. #TrustedTrade

Our partners include: governments, institutions, port authorities, and trade bodies across multiple continents. Neutral infrastructure, it turns out, travels well.

Kenya, Nigeria, and Morocco have been selected as the first countries to implement ADAPT - the Africa Digital Access and Public Infrastructure for Trade initiative.

The IOTA Mainnet just got a major consensus upgrade. Starfish is now live.
