if someone from the us said "i get $4000 a paycheck" for example you dont know the following information: -whether that amount is before or after taxes -what state they live in which defines how much they are taxed -if they are an hourly or salary employee -how many hours a week they work if hourly -how often they get paid (weekly, biweekly etc) -whether also make tips or commissions on top of their regular pay
