@sullivan_upper A warm and intelligent man who cared deeply about the students and the school. I bumped into him on a flight to Liverpool after he had retired and I was early in my career as a Maths teacher in the city. His passion for education never dimmed. He will be greatly missed.

I will give you some examples. Alien and Ghostbusters. Those are ITV films. What are they doing on BBC1? Four Weddings And A Funeral. Channel 4 film. What's that doing on BBC1? Back To The Future. Saw that Christmas 88 on BBC1. What's that doing on ITV? Jarring! JARRING I SAID!

Christmas Day 1984 was the network premiere of Raiders on ITV. Then all the other Indiana Jones films were on BBC1. Kids, you just don't understand how some films are associated with a channel and it causes whiplash in older viewers to see them on other channels.
