@nickramsbottom Fab, glad you liked it. Just doing a feature for my new book, if you come in September you might find useful information in there. And for shorter trips in Great British Gravel Rides as well. There'll also be the Dunoon Dirt Dash, so if you want to combine that maybe?

@reizkultur do you have an opinion on when the best time to road cycle in the Cairngorms is? After a balance of being eaten by midges vs freezing. Looking at September at the moment for higher fitness levels 🚀

@reizkultur Cracking, thank you for your advice. You're spot on about April being too soon 😅, maybe next year if I can stick to a winter training regime!

@nickramsbottom Spot on Nick! from middle September onwards the midges should be away, normally. Otherwise the end of April is good too, but sounds like this is too soon.
