@hotel1415 @DavideMastracci a lot of the time, mining and manufacturing done in those areas add chemicals to the water that cannot be boiled away. plus settlers disturbed Indigenous practices with water. if it werent for them, they wouldn’t have advisories to begin with

There are currently 30 long-term drinking water advisories on reserves within Canada, according to the government, meaning the people there have to boil water before they use it or are instructed not to use it at all.

Fun times ahead for #Adobe designers. Today, if you open a PSD (even one that's 20 years old) with an obscure PANTONE colour, it will remove the colour and make it black. Pantone want US$21/month for access, and Solid Coated goes behind the paywall in early November.

@nrivthehuman @IdilBurale @josinavink @RSDSymposium There's a huge difference in approach, skill base, methods, and research between those working within a defined social system and the systemic design approach. Changes to process or policy within existing frames are service design, & not what we would consider system change.

@IdilBurale @redesign @josinavink @RSDSymposium for example, i would say people working in city council technically work in systems design, they design systems we live within whether they apply theory or not. and yet we have people on 6 fig salaries of taxpayer $, deciding what is best to resolve poverty they cannot relate to
