@nmkiee Vintage comics is the same in canada and the us (minus really rare shit #importfees) just overall its a very expensive hobby and I chose fucking spiderman out of everyone (seriously why could I like ghost rider his entire first run +first appearance is like $2000)

I hate magic the gathering cards that say "do X to win the game" IMO every win con should involve interaction with your opponents in general not simply casting cards especially when theres lots of cards that prevent opponents from interacting with you.

@nmkiee First green goblin worth about $1500 canadian but I have like 6 books in the $1000 range and #1 is gonna run me about $6000-$7000 (gonna be a graduation gift to myself)

@nmkiee Yep! Fortunately ive made it so I collect only using profits ive made selling other cards but for most people its ridiculous. Also pro tip do not collect vintage comic books ive spent more on a single book than ive currently spent on tuition

@nmkiee Buy singles my friend. Other than soul stone the best cards like $40 hell the cheapest version of parrelel lives is the spiderman art I think my entire villians deck with all the comic art (minus heroic intervention somehow) was $75 plus commison
