Instead of the usual “pump the numbers” hype or burning electricity on pointless calculations, they’re using D-Wave’s Advantage2 quantum computers. The hybrid setup mixes classical nodes with quantum ones to tackle real world problems, stuff like logistics and scheduling optimization.
Some things that stood out to me:
Adoption: Over 13k people are already running nodes. That’s a lot of traction for a testnet this early.
Developer Tools: They released two SDKs—one for building from scratch, another for upgrading existing contracts without rewriting everything. Makes life way easier for devs.
Wallet SDK: This is super smart. It wraps contracts so if a post-quantum signature fails, it cancels automatically. High security without messing up the user experience.
