Happy new year from our house to yours. Our girls are nearly all grown up & on the cusp of starting lives on their own. Chester finished the year relatively healthy but we know nothing is guaranteed with our beautiful little boy and everyday we have is a blessing we are thankful.

@JoanieBegonia The inhaler does help with the wheezing thankfully but not the cough and it’s very dry and hurts, turns my stomach

12 hours at the ER to discover I’ve been a week being treated for pneumonia that I don’t have 🤦♂️ it’s been a very long emotional day.Pneumonia collapsed 2 of my lungs &almost killed me 10 years ago.Been frightened to death the last week for no reason.Thankful but frustrated

When I wake up every morning and hear the horrible things that are going on all around us I am certainly proud to be a Canadian. We don’t shoot our kids at school or arrest innocent people without just cause. We are a nation that enjoys peace and fairness for all…..

Finally back ashore after 28 years at the bottom of the sea - a Lego life raft from the Great Lego Spill of 1997. Collected yesterday from the crew of a fishing trawler who hauled it up in their nets some 20 miles offshore. One of 28,700 lost overboard from the Tokio Express.

What a great day!
Chester was discharged from hospital but I had a very important ceremony to attend after his discharge. When I got back to our room at Ronald McDonald House the staff had this waiting for me😊.
That’s right I’m now a Canadian citizen! #BigdazCanadian

Chester has surgery on Monday morning in Halifax. They don’t do the pre-op assessments on the weekend so we are having it done today then we get to spend the weekend in Halifax to do want we want before surgery which is nice. #MightyChester #Halifax #iwk
