@pdfshift Hi, is the server down? Unable to access.
New Delhi, India 🇮🇳 English

@heavyacreage Sorry, I'm only reading this now. One of our main servers was down, but we have load balancing in place, so there shouldn't have been any front issues. The other IPs were working fine. (the faulty server was fixed a few hours after the incident)

@__nxbxdy__ We had a sporadic database issue that is now resolved, and caused some conversions to fail. We then took advantage of the issue to implement a way to still be able to serve the conversions even when the database is down. All is deployed now and we are checking the services.

@saviomartin7 @pdfshift Im currently using mPDF which is a PHP open-source project - is there any viable reason to shift to a commercial solution ?

I found the best API for HTML to PDF conversion, don't waste time anymore implementing and maintaining a 3rd party code
Check it out @pdfshift at pdfshift.io
• High-fidelity conversion API with 0 maintenance costs
• Integrate in 3 lines of code
• Raw HTML support

@anjanesh @saviomartin7 mPDF states that their library is outdated (it is written in their home page) and they recommend using headless Chrome, which is exactly what we are doing. So if you want to use the recent CSS properties and advanced network performances, PDFShift might be better.
