"to. kyoungbae,
kyoungbae, hi. to you who i spend everyday together with, suddenly writing a letter like this feels a little awkward and embarrassing. but still, since its a letter, i'll try to write what i wanna say here!
how was your 2025?
for me, it was a year that passed by so quickly and chaotically, but im sure it must have been even more hectic for you, right? suddenly gaining six childish hyungs and, in such a short period of time, having to become a professional and handle music and performances, i think that must have been burdensome and difficult at times. but i was grateful and proud that you handled it all even better than expected.
sometimes, i was even jealous of you. the talents you have, the things you achieved through your hard work! i would think, "if it were me, i wouldnt have been able to do that…"
and the fact that you gained six hyungs too! im jealous of that ㅋㅋㅋ ofc, from your perspective, there must have been a lot of difficult parts too. since they're older than you, im sure there were many times you had to be considerate and understanding toward them. sometimes i wonder if im really a good hyung to you. i want to take better care of you, guide you better, and be a hyung who has a better influence on you, but its not easy..
even so, the reason i said im jealous that you have six hyungs is because no matter which hyung it is, when things are hard you can lean on them, when you need help you can talk to them, and when you're upset you can act spoiled too! its okay to act more like a kid! you're the maknae after all!
ofc, i really like how maturely you take care of the things you need to do and how considerate you are toward the hyungs. and thank you for becoming that kind of maknae. but i hope you can speak more comfortably about your true feelings to your hyungs. i have more experience than you, after all! the things you dont know yet, the things you're curious about, the worries you have, i'll help you understand and solve them.
and if something upsetting happens with the hyungs, tell us right away. if you keep swallowing those feelings, one day they'll suddenly explode out of nowhere! you have to tell us right away when something upsets you, so that if im upset with you too, i can say it right away too ㅋㅋ
we're not just people working together for a short time, we're going to be together for a long, long time. so i think it would be nice if we could become even more comfortable and honest with each other than we are now! though honestly, you've already done so well up until now.
im glad that you're the maknae of our team, and im glad i get to be with someone like you. im sorry i couldnt be a better hyung to you, but thank you for doing so well. lets become even happier together in the future!
