@JasozzGames Been battling this lately myself. Simulating a more realistic car with proper suspension and traction hasn’t felt great, but then going the “skinned rolling ball” route is far too simple😭

tinkering with trying to write some arcadey vehicle physics, trying to do a suspension from scratch without using physics joints it was an adventure lol #gamedev

@TinyBox11 Looks better for sharing but man I can’t work on a project at all if it’s nothing but white boxes. Art and animation has so much to do with how a game feels, making something nice to look at can help even if it’s going to change later.

This looks incredible. But why would you focus on the visuals so much in the first two weeks of development? There’s so much stuff that might change and you’ll feel way less inclined to throw anything out the window when it looks this good. Genuine question to the team

Looking for Thumbnail Designer, $150-$300/per 1 Thumbnail per week Examples:

Mac’s have always been less prone to crashing and bugging out in my experience. Apple displays are killer with color and resolution, “you can always plug in a better monitor” defeats the purpose of having a laptop. They’re built like tanks and last forever, can’t say the same about any Windows laptops I’ve tried. Build quality and finish is A+. AirDrop and being able to text and take calls between my phone and laptop is a huge bonus. Apple silicone and infrastructure is just absurd. It all works so well together and it’s obscenely fast even compared to my gaming rig doing the same tasks. As far as what you can install, what limitations are running into? Any software I’ve ever needed for creative work works on a Mac and works better on my Mac than my PC. If you’re talking about gaming, gaming on a laptop sucks regardless, just build a desktop designed for it regardless of what laptop you have. Happy to answer any other specific questions you might have. I’ve used both heavily for years and am very, very happy to have a MacBook Pro again.

I see a lot of people praising MacBooks for creative work, and I’m curious why. I’m not a fan of either Windows or Apple, but I feel like Windows laptops are fast enough and offer great screens. Plus, you can always just plug in a better monitor, and the build quality is often comparable. MacBooks seem overpriced to me, and the limitations on what you can install feel restrictive. I don’t hate them, but I’m looking for someone to help me understand why they are so highly regarded.
