i finally set up the ability to walk from one scene to another, with a nice little pause scene, then fade to black animation and everything, but when i try to walk back into rooms i’ve already been in they are still paused..

it’s actually been a lot of fun figuring this stuff out though! i feel so enamored with understanding everything about videogames. the fact that game development today is made easier than ever, and that is is still this challenging for me.. it makes me appreciate games so much
